I was looking for a professional speed bag platform for my home gym and I reached out to the guys at The Original Speedbag for a custom ash wood platform. I couldn’t be happier with my choice!

The platform arrived perfectly packaged, was easy to install, and the first thing that stood out to me was the quality. The ash wood they used is really beautiful, and once mounted the platform is incredibly stable, with a clean and really satisfying sound

The customer service was excellent as well. I was kept updated throughout the production process and every question I had was answered quickly and with great care

If you’re looking for an excellent handmade speed bag platform and a team that’s always there to help, I definitely recommend The Original Speedbag!

After two years of intensive training, I can confidently say that this SpeedBag platform is the best on the market. The quality is unmatched: despite frequent use, the platform has remained stable and durable, showing no signs of wear. But it’s not just the sturdiness that impresses; the design and functionality are top-notch, allowing for flawless execution of various training routines. I’d also like to extend my thanks to the master carpenters who crafted this gem. If you’re looking for a reliable and high-quality platform, this is definitely the right choice. I couldn’t be more satisfied! 💎💎💎

I became interesting in speed bagging while taking a boxing class several years ago. I like the mental and physical challenge. I purchased a low-cost platform and have been bagging away on it for a couple of years. I've enjoyed it. I've tried different swivels and bags of varying quality and size. It can make a big difference. I follow several speed baggers on Instagram and have admired their drums. Many are true works of art and beyond my pocketbook or skill to build. I was having a conversation with Jeff Thrasher, of Thrasher House, on the subject of drums and he suggested The Original Speedbag. I checked the site and wow! Their platforms were beautiful (what else would you expect from an Italian company?) and reasonably priced. I placed my order and after a few weeks my new platform arrived. I had no idea what a difference a solid wood drum can make. The sound, the rebound all combine to make beautiful music, even with my marginal skills. I wander out to my garage, where I mounted my platform, many times a day just to let my brain party with the sweet music of speed bagging. A good platform is truly a game changer. I could not be happier with my purchase and the service I received from The Original Speedbag. They acknowledged my order promptly and kept me apprised of the progress of my new platform. It arrived well packaged and it was easy to assemble and install. I have a swivel I wanted to use, so at my request, they didn't install a swivel but they marked the center of the drum and the pattern for the screws to mount my swivel. It has been a joy to bag with it. I could not be more pleased.

If you love speed bagging and are using an inexpensive drum, consider upgrading. It makes a world of difference. I highly recommend The Original Speedbag, their product and service is excellent.

The best speed bag platform money can buy hands down! Made of the best materials and hand crafted to perfection. Original speed bag puts quality over everything when they do work. I would never go with a different company because nobody makes speed bag platforms like this. It’s not even close with other companies. If you want something that is special and stands out but also gives you the best function this is the platform to go with!

I will always recommend The Original Speedbag to anyone that is interested in training with a speedbag. The craftsmanship is second to none and the performance upgrade that their platforms give compared to generic flimsy platforms is what I enjoy most about my purchase. 5 star quality and 5 star customer service!

I was tired of flimsy speedbag platforms for which I felt the thin wood base took away from the bag's performance. My Original Speedbag platform allows the bag to flow as purely from my strikes as possible, without having the speed diminished by the wood base. The fact that the wood itself is beautiful is an added bonus.
